ZEBSTECH PTA HANDS OVER 6-UNIT APARTMENT ACCOMMODATION TO THE SCHOOL
Teacher Association (PTA) of Zebstech has constructed a Six -unit apartment accommodation for the school to help solve some of the school's accommodation problems and to enhance the quality of teaching and learning. Each apartment has a bedroom, living room, toilet and bath. In a short ceremony to handover the facility, Mr Ayamweogo Thomas, the PTA chairman noted that the continuous need to improve the quality of teaching and learning made it necessary for the PTA to embark on the project. He stated that the project was delayed because of financial problems. He appealed to parents not to rest on their oars but continue to support the school to provide quality teaching and learning for the students.The PTA chairman handed the keys to the building over to the district director representative who also handed It over to the board chairman of the school who then handed it over to the Headmaster. Receiving the keys on behalf of the school, Headmaster thanked the PTA for the gusture and recounted other earlier assistance offered by the Association which included the cladding of the district assembly pavilion, provision of furniture amongst others. The Headmaster stated that when more staff are accommodated on campus it would help to check discipline and improve academic work in the school. On his part, Mr Imoro Mohammed Akugri, the deputy director of finance and administration Who represented the director, lauded the PTA for the edifice. He urged the school to practice maintenance culture to keep the facility in good condition. The board chairman of the school, Mr Suje Agojesi commended the PTA for its continuous support. He appealed to benevolent individuals and groups in the district to emulate the shining example of the PTA as the government alone could not provide the entire needed infrastructure. present at the handing over ceremony were:
